OBIT DELP, PAULINE OSBORNE

DELP, Pauline Osborne, 78, of Botetourt County, passed away at her home, Monday afternoon, June 28, 1993. She entered into rest after a long illness. She was born in Grayson County April 6, 1915, to Willie and Rose Osborne. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, LLoyd A. Delp. They were united in marriage December 9, 1933, and resided in Grayson County until 1948 when they moved to Botetourt County. She is also survived by five children, three daughters, Mamie D. Ferguson, Sue D. Bell, Nancy D. Siner; two sons, Maxey R. Delp, Dan C. Delp; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; also four sisters, Mrs. Ossie Halsey, Mrs. Viola Ross, Mrs. Alice Barton, all of Independence, Mrs. Vita Lee Barton, of Galax; several nieces and nephews; also devoted daughters-in-law, and sons-in-law; and many devoted friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be held by Oakey's North Chapel Wednesday, June 30, 1993, at 1 p.m. with ELder Lane Carter and Elder Junior Conner officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
