OBIT SIMPKINS, JENNIE CLYDIE

SIMPKINS, Jennie Clydie, 77, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, June 27, 1993. Surviving are her husband, Rady Ralph Simpkins; her sons and daughters-in-law, Woodrow and Roseann Simpkins, Roanoke, Earnie and Mary Simpkins, Dublin, and Troy Simpkins, Roanoke; her daughters and sons-in-law, Beulah and Curtis Hiatt, Roanoke, Jean and Mike Burwell, Roanoke; a special friend, Lola Light and son, Jason of Roanoke; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel, 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 1993, with Dr. H. R. Thompson and Rev. Truman Simpkins officiating. Interment and graveside service will be 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Simpkins Family Cemetery, Pulaski County. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
