OBIT ELLIOTT, ROY EVERETTE
ELLIOTT, Roy Everette, 71, of Christiansburg, died Saturday, June 26, 1993,
in the veterans hospital in Salem. He is survived by his wife, Christine Rose
Elliott of Christiansburg; three daughters, Joan E. Weaver of Christiansburg,
Judy A. Totten of Haughton, La., and Pamela M. Lovern of Radford; two
brothers, George Elliott of Walkertown, N.C., Howard J. Elliott of
Christiansburg; five sisters, Ruby Rigdon of Vanceburg, Ky., Evelyn McKee of
West Union, Ohio, Garnet Holt of Tollesboro, Ky., Ruth Thurman of Pulaski and
Louise Roop of Belspring. Also surviving are four grandchildren and one
great-grandchild. The funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday from the
DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jim Davis officiating. Interment will
follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family received friends from
7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford.
