OBIT MCGHEE, PAUL WALTER JR.
McGHEE, Paul Walter Jr., 74, of Marion, died Monday, June 28, 1993, in
Smyth County Community Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Jane
McGhee of Marion; one son, Paul Gregory McGhee of Marion; five sisters,
Elizabeth Cassell of Roanoke, Martha Minter of Raleigh, N.C., Imogene
Copenhaver of Rural Retreat, Katherine Repass and Geraldine McGhee, both of
Marion; two brothers, Neal McGhee of Marion and Reed McGhee of Chilhowie; one
grandchild, Brianne Marie McGhee. Funeral services will be held Wednesday,
June 30, 1993, 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. T. D. Burgess and Rev.
Grady Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family
will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
