OBIT SWINK, MARIE AYERS

SWINK, Marie Ayers, 83, of Raphine, died Monday, June 28, 1993, at the Stonewall Jackson Hospital, Lexington. Mrs. Swink was born on December 6, 1909, a daughter of the late Henry Milton and Ardenia Martin Ayres. She was the widow of the late Robert Glasgow Swink. She was a member of the Oxford Presbyterian Church, Lexington. Mrs. Swink is survived by a son, Robert H. Swink, Raphine; two daughters, Shirley S. Montgomery, Lexington, Katherine S. Landes, Burlington, N.C.; a sister, Ethel Molstad, Sparta, Wisc.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 30, 1993, at 11 a.m. from the graveside at the Oxford Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Barton Hellmuth officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
