STORY CAUSED UNWARRANTED ANXIETY
YOUR failure to report all of the facts in the recent diving accident at a
Rockbridge quarry (June 19 news story, "Schoolteacher drowns while scuba
diving") created skepticism among those who dive and unwarranted anxiety among
those who don't. To a diver, losing a fin is as hazardous as losing a bathing
suit. There were other mitigating factors - why didn't you include them?
