OBIT-CROMER, GUY E.
CROMER, Guy E., 88, of Roanoke, died Monday, June 28, 1993. He was a member
of the Episcopal Church and was a retired conductor with Norfolk & Western
Railway with 46 years service. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years on
the U.S.S. Maryland. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Bland Cromer and is
survived by a good friend and like a son, William Schilling and wife, Dorothy
and their daughter, Nicole, who was family to him; one sister-in-law, Mrs.
Virginia Thomas of Salem. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside
at Evergreen Burial Park 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Elmer Clemons
officiating. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
