OBIT-LACOUR, CYNTHIA MAE

LaCOUR, Cynthia Mae, 71, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, June 26, 1993, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Cynthia Mae LaCour was born in Honey Grove, Texas to Mary and Dan W. English on August 31, 1921, the youngest of nine children. The family later moved to Lima, Okla. and resided around Seminole, where Cynthia met and married Cardine McCrimmon in 1936. To this union one child was born, Marian F. McCrimmon. She leaves to mourn, one daughter and son-in-law, Marian and Herbert Chappelle of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Jeff and Debra; one great-grandson, Michael; one sister, Iola Booker, a resident of Stonegate Nursing Home in Ada, Okla.; two nieces, Wilamina Grayson and Cynthia Diama, both of Tulsa, Okla.; a niece and three nephews of Seminole, Okla.; a host of cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. U. N. Broady officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn. The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral services.
