OBIT-PAGANS, ROBERT THOMAS
PAGANS, Robert Thomas, 102, of Route 1, Union Hall, a loving father, died
Tuesday, June 29, 1993. He was born May 15, 1891, and was a Veteran of WWI. He
was preceded in death by his wife, Julia W. Pagans; two sons, Grady and
Richard Pagans; a granddaughter, Karen G. Pagans; a daughter-in-law, Doris A.
Pagans. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Marie P. and Otey Perdue
of Union Hall and Rachel P. and Samuel A. `Pete` Pearman of Stanleytown; four
sons and three daughters-in-law, Grover C. and Sallie Pagans and James R.
Pagans, all of Vinton, Alfred T. and Estelle Pagans and Oscar W. and Loraine
Pagans of Union Hall. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren; 29
great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren;
a sister-in-law, Annie Lee Pagans of Vinton; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 1993, at Lynch
Chapel by Rev. Charles Swicegood with interment to follow in Mountain View
Memorial Park. Visitation will begin after 3 p.m. Wednesday, at Lynch Funeral
Home where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
