WHITEY TAYLOR IS NOT TO BLAME

THIS letter is in response to "Boxing matches at the racetrack" (letter to the editor, June 15).

I go to the Franklin County Speedway every Saturday night with my family. We enjoy going there; it's something that my family can enjoy. Yes, you can have your so-called drunks that have no respect of others. But I don't feel that is Whitey Taylor's fault. He does the best he can when there is trouble. So don't come down on him for it. Come down on the people who have no respect. At least at the racetrack, you can say a prayer and the pledge, and you won't be put down for that. MELODY CLARK SALEM
