OBIT-MCSPADDEN, CLARA LEE HILCHER

MCSPADDEN, Clara Lee Hilcher, 77, of Chilhowie, died Wednesday, June 30, 1993 at her home, White Oak Spring Farm. She was a member of the Chilhowie United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Business and Professional Women's Club. She is survived by her husband, William B. McSpadden; one sister-in-law, Louise Munsey, Bland; one brother-in-law, Dr. George Shelton, Chattanooga, Tenn.; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Chilhowie United Methodist Church with Rev. David T. StClair and Rev. Terry D. Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the Beatie Section of Westwood Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of Chilhowie United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Williams Funeral Home.
