LEAGUE SEEKS INPUT ON SERVICES FOR SENIORS

The League of Older Americans will hold a public hearing July 21 to get comments on the services it provides for senior citizens in Roanoke, Salem, Clifton Forge, Covington and the counties of Alleghany, Botetourt, Craig and Roanoke.

The hearing will be at 10 a.m. at Melrose Towers, 3038 Melrose Ave. N.W.

The league will use the comments to develop priorities for services it will offer beginning Oct. 1, said Susan Williams, executive director.

A list of the services can be obtained by calling the LOA office at 345-0451 or visiting the offices at 706 Campbell Ave. S.W. or in Eagle Rock, New Castle and Covington.
