CAMP LIGHTEN UP PLANNED AUG. 16-20

Camp Lighten Up, a weight-control camp for boys and girls ages 9-14 will be held Aug. 16-20 at the Smith Mountain Lake 4-H Center. The camp is offered by the Virginia Cooperative Extension.

Participants will learn about improving eating habits and self-esteem, clothing selection and healthy weight control practices. Swimming, horseback riding, archery, dancing, games and cookouts are part of the daily activities.

Registration deadline is July 15, and cost is $95. For information or to register, call 382-5790.
