OBIT-MOTTLEY, HERMAN M. SR.

MOTTLEY, Herman M. Sr., 78, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 1993. He was a member of a Christian church, and was retired from Greyhound after 34 years of service and was an active Greyhound Retiree Club Member. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pauline F. Mottley, one son, Herman M. Mottley Jr. of Salem, one daughter, Mrs. Sandra M. Parks of Salem, two grandchildren, Mrs. Pamela Ziskie of Michigan and Joe Sammons of Fincastle; three great-grandchildren, Adam Sammons, David and Cody Ziskie; two brothers and five sisters. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 1 p.m. Saturday, July 3, with the Rev. Ralph F. Painter officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will received friends from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. Friday.
