SNOW WHITE STILL WISHING - ON CASH, NOT A STAR

A wishing well with a picture of Snow White on the side greets visitors to Adriana Caselotti's home. Ring the door bell and hear her coo: "I'm wishing . . . for the one I love . . . to find me . . . today. Goodbye, Grumpy. Dinner!"

This is where the first Snow White lives. At least, this is the home of the voice of Snow White from the 1937 classic film.

That was 56 years ago, and Disney is still on Caselotti's mind.

Caselotti, 77, was paid $970, a routine sum for such work in those nonunion days in Hollywood. Now, as the eighth release of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" hits theaters this weekend, she figures she deserves more money, but she won't sue.

Caselotti said her "time to move" in seeking more money would be when the Snow White feature is released on video. It's the only Disney classic still withheld from home viewing. Disney has no plans for its release.
