OBIT-PARSONS, FRENCH J.

PARSONS, French J., 89, of Mouth of Wilson, passed away Thursday, July 1, 1993, at his residence. He was born August 4, 1903 in Mouth of Wilson to David Johnston and Dora Halsey Parsons. He was a life-long farmer. Surviving are two daughters, Charlsie P. Little, Troutdale, and Irene Barr, Pulaski; three sons, Walter F. Parsons, Martinsville, Wallace Parsons, Independence, and Dave Parsons, Kokomo, Ind.; one brother, Robert M. Parsons, Mouth of Wilson; four sisters, Dell Boyer, Independence, Frances Stovall, Carrie Jarrett, both of Bassett, and Victoria Johnson of Idaho; ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, July 4, 1993 at 1 p.m. in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence, with Rev. Eddie F. Patton officiating. Interment in Young's Chapel Cemetery, Mouth of Wilson. The body will remain at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. The family will be at the home of the daughter, Charlsie P. Little, where friends may call at anytime. Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence, is in charge of arrangements.
