ADAMS-KOLLIE

MIAMI, FLA. - Lauren Jill Kollie and David Wayne Adams, both of Simpsonville, S. C., were married May 23 on the Carnival cruise ship Ecstacy at its port in Miami, Fla. Marc Emery performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Lawrence A. and Jacque D. Kollie of Martinsville, Va. The bridegroom is the son of John W. and Linda W. Adams of Ridgeway, Va. He is the grandson of Ruth Adams of Roanoke, Va., and the late John D. Adams, Jeanette Pauline Webb of Roanoke and the late Charlie Forrest Webb. The bride wore a white tea-length dress and carried a bouquet of white roses. A reception was held aboard ship in the suite of Mrs. Joyce Myers of Manassas, aunt of the bridegroom. The wedding party cruised for seven days in the Western Caribbean at the ports of Cozumel, Mexico; the Cayman Islands and Jamaica. The couple lives in Greenville, S. C. The bride is a 1990 graduate of Martinsville High School and is employed by Wal-Mart in Simpsonville. The bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of the College of Health Sciences in Roanoke. He is a paramedic for Greenville County Emergency Medical Services.
