OBIT-BAYSE, GENEVA CRAWFORD

BAYSE, Geneva Crawford, 76, of Roanoke, passed away at her home Friday, July 2, 1993. She was a member of Villa Heights Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and Deaconess. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Hillcrest Chapter #159. She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Bayse; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie B. and David R. Klaiber of Melbourne, Fla., Linda B. and Michael B. Hall of Goodview; grandsons, Michael E. Hall of Goodview, Garry L. Klaiber and wife, Vicki of Roanoke, Michael W. Klaiber and wife, Shelby of Roanoke; granddaughters, Tara Klaiber of Melbourne, Fla., Chrystal Hall of Goodview, Pamela Kilmer and husband, Joe of Melbourne, Fla., seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Allie C. Colman of Roanoke. Funeral service will be conducted from the Villa Heights Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 6 with the Rev. Harold C. Lewis and the Rev. J. Landon Maddex officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be, Harry B. Morgan, John Edmonson, William B. Mabry, Grady Burrell, Ural Manuel and Jeffrey Jeffries. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday and Monday.
