FORMER MEMBER OF GILES COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD DIES

He operated a flower and gift shop, but earlier in his career had taught at Floyd High School and Narrows High School. Hall was a graduate of Virginia Tech.

He was a charter member of the board of New River Community College, serving from 1969 until 1981.

The funeral will be today at 1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Narrows.
