OBIT-KIRK, RALPH EDWIN

KIRK, Ralph Edwin, 78, of Christiansburg, died Sunday, July 4, 1993, in Montgomery Regional Hospital. Born at Goodwins Ferry in Giles County, he was a son of the late Emory Preston and Mary Murdock Kirk. He operated a glass shop in Radford and was a Veteran of World War II, U. S. Army Air Force. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Ramsey Kirk; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles P. and Constance B. Kirk; a daughter and son-in-law, Paula K. and Jackie E. Davis, all of Christiansburg; four grandchildren, Traci Y. Kirk, Kevin L. Kirk, Angie M. Myers and Christopher A. Myers, all of Christiansburg; two stepgrandchildren; one sister, Leona K. Snidow; one nephew, Randal K. Snidow, both of Pembroke. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 6, 1993, in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
