OBIT-SLEMP, PHYLLIS RUTHERFORD

SLEMP, Phyllis Rutherford, 58, of Sugar Grove, died Saturday, July 3, 1993, at her home. She is survived by her husband, Dan A.(Abe) Slemp, Sugar Grove; one son and daughter-in-law, Dan A. Jr and Kim Slemp, Sugar Grove; two daughters and one son-in-law, Terri and Joe Blankenship, Marion, Beth Lawrence, Marion; her mother-in-law, Margaret Slemp, Sugar Grove; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 6 at 11 a.m. at the Ebenezer Lutheran Church, with Pastor James H. Bangle officiating. Burial will follow in Slemp cemetery in Sugar Grove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ebenezer Lutheran Church. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
