OBIT-MOSES, MABEL E. CUMMINGS

MOSES, Mabel E. Cummings, 88, of Lexington, died Sunday, July 4, 1993, at the Mayflower Retirement Home, Lexington. Mrs. Moses was born on September 4, 1904, in Rockbridge County, Va., a daughter of the late Charles F. and Margaret S. Hayslett Cummings. She was a member of the Lexington Presbyterian Church, a retired nurse from the Stonewall Jackson Hospital, Lexington, and owned and operated the W & L Swing Shop for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lane Moses, and a son, Paul Lane Moses Jr. Mrs. Moses is survived by two grandchildren, Eric L. Moses, Lexington, and Paul L. Moses, Falling Waters, W.Va.; a great-granddaughter, Erica D. Moses, Fairfield, and a special friend, Irene Bradley, Fairfield. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside on Wednesday, July 7, 1993, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lee Zehmer officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
