HILL, Herman Wiley Sr., 81, of Bramwell, W.Va., died Sunday, July 4, 1993,
in Altoona, Pa. Born in Coopers, W.Va., he was a son of the late Wiley M. and
Blanche Williamson Hill. He was a retired Tax Auditor and a member of the
Bramwell Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Dr. Dennis (Mary
Katherine) DeLeo of Altoona, Pa.; sons, Henry Joseph Hill of Mt. Sidney, Va.,
Herman W. Hill Jr. of Athens, Ohio; a brother, Hampton Hill of Bluefield,
W.Va.; sisters, Mrs. Howard (Hattie) Rigney of Salem, Mrs. Early B. (Honey)
Johnson of Roanoke, Mrs. Earl (Dorothy) James of Bluefield, W.Va.; seven
grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the
Bramwell Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ward Murray officiating with burial
to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, W.Va. Friends may call at
Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, Tuesday between the hours of 7 and 9
p.m.
