NOVA'S THUNDER ON THE LEFT

DAVID Nova, a spokesman for the ultraliberal Planned Parenthood, tells us the Republican nominees for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general are ultraconservative (June 25 letter, "Winning the election isn't the goal"). What a big surprise. Anyone to the right of Sen. Ted Kennedy is probably far right to Nova.

Nova's hysterical fulminations against conservative Republicans are typical radical-liberal tripe. He labels "mad" (crazy) those whose agendas include "opposition to legal abortion, support for prayer in public schools, intolerance of homosexuality, and an end to gun control." This and past statements by him tell us where he stands.

He and others on the far left support legalizing the admission of homosexuals into our armed forces. They want to censor spoken prayers from our public schools. They support gun control, but fight fanatically against any regulation of or restrictions on abortions. They oppose parental notification before minors undergo abortions, support late-term abortions and want taxpayer funding of abortions. And they control the Democratic Party.

Nova and his fellow radical liberals are fiercely attacking conservative Republican political candidates. We know why. These left-wing extremists want to deflect attention away from their domination of the Democratic Party. DONNA SHRADER NARROWS
