YUGOSLAV SHIP STUCK IN NEWPORT NEWS

A Yugoslav ship and its six-member crew may have to wait to return home until the United States lifts an order freezing assets owned or controlled by Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro.

The Bor, a 328-foot freighter, has been detained in the James River. It was en route to pick up a load of fertilizer in Hopewell when it stopped to clear customs in Newport News. - Associated Press
