OBIT CARTER, WILFRED

CARTER, Wilfred, 75, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 1993. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Eloise Carter; aunt, Geneva Hicks; cousins, Regina H. Peeks, all of Roanoke, Willie Hicks, Laurel, Del.; Vonda Wright, Baltimore, Md.; a devoted friend, Juanita Jones, Roanoke; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., Hamlar-Curtis Chapel. Dr. J. Eugene Young will officiate with burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service Saturday. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
