MEDICAL GROUP TO HOLD BENEFIT CELEBRITY AUCTION

The Southwest Virginia Emergency Medical Services Council will hold its annual celebrity auction from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 8 at Virginia Highlands Community College.

Items will be available for viewing at 12:30 p.m. They include autographed copies of Bill Cosby's book, "Childhood," and Wynnona Judd's CD titled "Wynnona," a "Heat of the Night" wristwatch from the TV show's star, Carroll O'Connor, and others.
