Kristine Janssen and Rusty Richardson are engaged and planned to be married in Catharpin, Va., October 9, 1993. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Janssen. She graduated from George Mason University and is employed by Atlantic Research Corporation. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kirby E. Richardson of Moneta, Va, formerly of Roanoke. He graduated from Virginia Tech and is employed by R & D Fabricators.
