The best man was Richard Atkinson, father of the groom. Groom's honor attendants were Richard Atkinson, Scott Atkinson and Todd Atkinson, brothers of the groom. Guestbook attendant was Terri Austin, sister-in-law of the bride. The bride is the daughter of Patricia Lloyd and Wayne Austin of Roanoke. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and is employed by McCormack Baron Real Estate Developers. The groom is the son of Richard and Margaret Atkinson of Lake Bluff, Ill. He graduated from Duke University and is employed by Baxter Healthcare Corp. The newlyweds make their home in Richmond.
