EPPERLY-DUKE

Melinda Renee Duke and Timmie Ren Epperly were married July 9, 1993, at the Roanoke Valley Cathedral of Praise with Rev. Harry Miller officiating. The reception was held at the Quality Inn in Salem. The matron of honor was Susan Cook, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Debbie Jones, sister of the bride, Tonya Duke, sister-in-law of the bride, Lisa Rawlings, Sherry Bland and Lesley Hammersley, nieces of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Jessica Cook, niece of the bride. The flowergirl was Chelsea Epperly, niece of the groom. Ed Epperly, father of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Dennis Epperly, brother of the groom, Charlie Hammersley, brother of the bride, Chris Dudding, nephew of the bride, Tommy Flanary and Bob Taylor, friends of the couple. Junior usher was Travis Jones, nephew of the bride. Ringbearers were Bradley Duke and Aaron Bland, nephews of the bride. Trina Boyle, friend of the bride, was guestbook attendant. The bride is the daughter of Homer and Harriett Duke of Salem. The groom is the son of Ed and Rosie Epperly of Salem. After a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach, the couple will reside in Salem.
