The maid of honor was Laura Elizabeth Jarrell, sister of the groom. The best man was Dallas Grey Jarrell, father of the groom. Thereception was held at Hunting HillsCountry Club.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Carter. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School and is employed by Dodson, Pence, Viar, Woodrum and Mackey. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Grey Jarrell. He graduated from Roanoke Catholic High School and Emory and Henry College and isemployed by United Companies Lending Corporation. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
