LOWERY-SPANGLER
Deborah M. Spangler and Charlie E. Lowery were married May 28, 1993, in the
Church of Christ. Rev. Jim Herron performed the ceremony. The reception, given
by Sherry Bohon, was held at the church. The maid of honor was Danielle Nicole
Spangler, daughter of the bride. The bride was given away by her father. Her
son, Robert A. Spangler, walked his mother down the aisle. The best man was
Charles A. Lowery, son of the groom. Ushers were Jerry Muterspaugh, brother of
the bride, and Darrell Akers, cousin of the groom. The candlelighters were the
mothers of the bride and groom. The guestbook was attended by Becky Brown. The
bride carried a bouquet of white roses, carnations and baby's breath. The
bride is a daughter of George and Shirley Muterspaugh, of Salem, Va. She
attended Salem High School and is employed by Valleydale Foods of Salem. The
groom is a son of Betty Lowery, of Salem. He graduated from Narrows High
School in Narrows, Va., and is employed by Kroger Warehouse. The newlyweds
will live in Salem.
