Amy Page James and Ronald Darik Wade were married July 3, 1993 in Virginia Heights Baptist Church by Dr. Daniel E. Scott. The reception was held at the church. The maid of honor was Helen C. Wirt, best friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Brenda J. Wilson, sister of the bride, Susan R. James, sister of the bride and Michelle A. Russeau, sister of the groom. Flowergirl was Ashleigh B.Wilson, niece of the bride. The best man was Ronald L. Wade, father of the groom. The ushers were Benjamin W. Russeau, brother of the groom, Edward C. Barbour, best friend of the groom, and Johnny Brinkley. The ringbearer was Michael Brinkley. The guestbook was attended by Debbie Witt. The bride wore a satin sheath gown which she designed. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and baby breath, carnations and pearls.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George E. James Jr. of Roanoke County. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by Optometric Eye Clinic, P.C.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald L. Wade of Roanoke, is a graduate of William Fleming High School and is employed by Walker Machine and Foundry Corp. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after the wedding trip to Nags Head, North Carolina.
