The National Association of Geology Teachers' John Moss Award for Excellence has been given to CHESTER "SKIP" WATTS, associate professor of geology.
The annual award is based on the recommendations of students, colleagues and fellow geologists.
The HELENE FULD HEALTH TRUST recently awarded a $35,000 grant to the College of Nursing and Health Services to support computer-assisted instruction.
The grant will be administered by Karma Castleberry, associate professor of nursing.
\ EDITH CARTER, adjunct professor of educational studies, has been elected president of the Special Interest Group for State and Regional Educational Research Associations.
She will be coordinating activities for 26 organizations representing 1,500 members.
