The top two teams in the Pulaski Men's Softball League - Athlete's Choice (13-1 as of July 8) and the New River White Sox (12-1) - each will play Ritch's Superior (38-1), beginning at 7 p.m.
Ritch's Superior, based in Windsor Locks, Conn., has won all six Class Major AA tournaments it has entered this season. In 39 contests, Ritch's has hit 682 homers and scored more than 1,400 runs. The team has a .707 batting average.
Hall of Famer Dirk Androff leads the team with 92 homers, 201 RBI and a .773 batting average - 150 for 194. Nine other squad members have more than 50 home runs.
Athlete's Choice won the NSA Class D state championship last year and has compiled a 160-55 record over the past 1 1/2 years.
The New River White Sox still have some players left from their 1986 ASA Class D national regional championship team.
