CAVE SPRING ADVANCES IN DIXIE DEBS

Cave Spring defeated Vinton 5-3 to win the Dixie Debs 16- to 18-year-old division of the Dixie Youth Softball District 6 Tournament at Walrond Park.

Nikki Clowers went 3-for-4 and Angie Repass was 2-for-3 with two runs scored for Cave Spring, which advances to the state tournament July 30 through Aug. 4 in Powhatan.
