HAIRSTON, Catherine Smith, 67, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, July 12, 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Angenette J. Pickens, Paula Woods, both of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Kimberly Yelinek, Ferrum, Christy Woods, Kelly Woods, Jada Pickens, Frank Pickens, all of Roanoke; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Beatrice Smith, Charleston, W.Va.; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
