OBIT CALLAHAN, ELROE K.

CALLAHAN, Elroe K., 60, of Route 1, Callaway, died Monday, July 12, 1993, at his home. Mr. Callahan was a retired brick mason with 42 years of service, and was a member of the Monte Vista Church of the Brethren. Surviving are his wife, Earline H. Callahan of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Elizabeth Callahan of Rocky Mount, Jeffrey and Rochelle Callahan of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Bobbie Jo Callahan and Cyrus W. Callahan; one sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Everette Blevins of Rural Retreat; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jacob and Agnes Callahan of Roanoke, Leon Callahan of Huntsville, Ala. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 1993 at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Jones and the Rev. David Webster officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will recieve friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Monte Vista Church of the Brethren Building Fund. Arrangements by Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
