OBIT CHANDLER, GEORGIA MABEL FAW

CHANDLER, Georgia Mabel Faw, of Dublin, died Sunday, July 11, 1993, at her home. She was a faithful member of the Dublin Baptist Church and served as a Sunday School teacher and former WMU Director. She loved gardening, making crafts and working with children. She was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Michael Allen Wampler. Surviving are her husband, Ralph Scott Chandler Sr., Dublin; one daughter and son-in-law, Lois Jane Chandler Ott and Frank M. Ott, Centralia, Ill.; one son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Scott Chandler Jr. and Karen E. Chandler, Dublin; five grandchildren and one stepgrandchild, James Allen Wampler Jr., Fort Bragg, N.C., Kevin Andrew Wampler, William Scott Wampler and Ashlie Ott, Centralia, Ill., Michael Chandler and Jennifer Chandler, Dublin; one great-grandchild, Christine Wampler, Dublin; one brother and sister-in-law, Clifford H. Faw and Vera Faw, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ola Faw Chandler and Carl Davis Chandler, Dublin, Virginia Faw Rumley and Alfred Rumley, Hickory; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Dublin Baptist Church with the Rev. Phil Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski County. Visiting will be Tuesday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Pulaski, Va.
