OBIT BARTLETT, CHARLES LOKE

BARTLETT, Charles Loke, 69, of Woodlawn, died Sunday, July 11, 1993, at the Twin County Community Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Pearl Burcham Bartlett; daughters and sons-in-law, Claudia and Patrick Richardson, Wytheville, Robin and Boo Manuel, Hermitage, Tenn.; Christy Bartlett, Woodlawn; sons and daughters-in-law, Jansen and Debbie Bartlett, Pilot Mountain, N.C., Layne and Joyce Bartlett, Woodlawn; brothers, Tossie Bartlett, Woodlawn, Paul Bartlett, Charleston, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral service will be held at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Galax, 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Richard Gregory and The Rev. Willard Richardson officiating. Interment in the Crooked Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Military rites will be preformed at the gravesite by Hillsville V.F.W. Post #1115. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pipers Gap Rescue Squad, the Forest Oak Christian Church or the Oakland United Methodist Church.
