OBIT CALLOWAY, LEONARD

CALLOWAY, Leonard, 71, of 1933 Wards Ferry Rd., Lynchburg, died Sunday, July 11, 1993, at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He is survived by two nephews, Rev. Charles Calloway, Sr., Barry Calloway, Sr., both of Roanoke; three nieces, Carolyn Tucker, Spartanburg, S.C., Barbara Lewis, Virginia Beach, Gladys Wiley, Japan; a devoted friend, Norma Cox, Lynchburg. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church. The Rev. L. L. Yuille officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church. Arrangements by Franklin Turner Funeral Home.
