ADDING TO THE LIST OF COMPLAINTS

CONCERNING Maj. Gen. Harold Campbell's "skirt-chasing," "draft-dodging," "dope-smoking," "gay-loving" comments about our beloved president (July 8 Associated Press story, "Report: General planned Clinton insults"):

The only fault I find with the good general is his failure to realize that one cannot always tell the truth. Realizing this fact also has proved to be very useful when running for president. I don't want to nit-pick but that's just one more minor character flaw that the general might want to add to his list. RUSSELL DUNCAN SALEM
