OBIT BEARD, WANDA MUTERSPAW

BEARD, Wanda Muterspaw, 70, of Lexington, died Tuesday, July 13, 1993, at her residence. Mrs. Beard was born in Rockbridge County on November 26, 1922, a daughter of the late Raphel Evert Muterspaw and Lottie Dove Wilhelm Muterspaw. She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, Lexington. Mrs. Beard is survived by her husband, Francis L. (`Frank`) Beard; a son, Daryl L. Beard of Florida. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 15, 1993, at 2 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tracie Bartholomew and the Rev. Joan Bunn officiating, with burial to follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens, Lexington. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
