DEMOCRATIC PICNIC JULY 24

The Montgomery County Democratic Party will hold its annual summer picnic July 24 at 5 p.m. at the Montgomery County Park on U.S. 460 across from Corning.

The meal is potluck with a $5 per family or $3 per individual donation to cover expenses.

The featured speaker will be Congressman Rick Boucher, D-Abingdon.

Democratic candidates for the House of Delegates, Jim Shuler and Howard Packett, also will speak, along with Board of Supervisors candidates Jim Martin, Jim Smith and Jim Moore.
