PESTICIDE BOARD TO DISCUSS POLLUTION

Contaminated ground water and organic pest control methods will be discussed today and Friday when the Virginia Pesticide Control Board holds its regularly scheduled meeting in Blacksburg.

The board will hear reports from several Virginia Tech researchers this morning beginning at 10.

On Friday, at 9:30 a.m., Forrest Ravlin, an associate professor of entomology, will give a talk on integrated pest management.

The board will meet at the Best Western Red Lion Inn both days.

A public comment period is scheduled for Friday at 9 a.m.
