OBIT CARTER, HOWARD WAYNE

CARTER, Howard Wayne, 54, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, July 13, 1993. Mr. Carter was employed at Perdue Cabinet Shop for 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Mary J. Carter; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry W. and Patricia A. Carter, Timothy D. and Diana D. Carter, Anthony J. and Sherry M. Carter, all of Roanoke; his mother, Sarah Barger Carter, Roanoke; six grandchildren, April Brittany Carter, Michael Wayne Carter, Christopher A. Carter, Jessica L. Carter, Robin M. Carter and Anthony S. Carter; a sister and brother-in-law, Alice Faye and Roger Lee Muse, Salem. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel, 10 a.m. Friday, July 16, 1993, with the Rev. Jerry Cloninger officiating. Interment in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
