OBIT PENDLETON, DAISY MULLINS
PENDLETON, Daisy Mullins, 83, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, July 13, 1993. She
was the widow of Gilbert A. Pendleton and is survived by a daughter, Mrs.
James (Joyce) Taylor; a son, Dennis W. Pendleton; three grandsons, Steven P.
Hetherington, Scott P. Hetherington, and Sean Hetherington, all of Roanoke;
two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ivan Mullins, Norfolk, Lawrence A. Mullins
and Dickie Mullins, Vinton; a half sister and her husband, Mary Lou and Robert
T. Rose, Portsmouth; a sister-in-law, Mary Emily Mullins, Valley Station, Ky.;
and a number of nephews and nieces, including a special niece, Margaret
Childress, Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday
from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with Rev. Nelson Harris officiating. Interment
will follow in Fair View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel,
where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
