ROANOKER GETS ROTARY INTERNATIONAL AWARD

Reid Jones Jr. of Roanoke has received the "Service Above Self Award" the Rotary Club of Roanoke. The award is the highest honor given to a Rotarian by the international service organization.

Jones, a past president of the Rotary Club of Roanoke and a Rotarian since 1951, is one of 91 honored this year by Rotary International.

Although retired, Jones helps several non-profit organizations such as the YMCA and the Bradley Free Clinic in addition to the Rotary Club.
