What'd she learn?

For one thing, editors who decide what stories to run apparently aren't much different from TV producers.

"You've got a whole list of things, and some make it, some don't," said Close, who studied the Daily News.

Also set to star in "The Paper," directed by Ron Howard, are Randy Quaid, Michael Keaton, Robert Duvall, Marisa Tomei and Catherine O'Hara.
