DAVIS, Edith M., 63, of Avon Park, Fla., died Friday, July 2, 1993. She was a native of Franklin County, Va., and moved to Avon Park in 1974 from Rocky Mount, Va. She is survived by her husband, Arthur D. Davis, Avon Park, Fla.; two sons, Arthur D. Davis Jr., Rocky Mount, Va., John L. Davis, Avon Park, Fla.; two daughters, Audrey J. Cloud, Avon Park, Fla., Angela D. Davis, Avon Park, Fla.; three brothers, Nelson Wright, Callaway, Va., Billy Wright and Terry Wright, Rocky Mount, Va.; two sisters, Ethel Tritapoe, Knoxville, Md., Lois Harden, Boones Mill, Va.; two grandchildren. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 1993, with the Rev. Kenneth Daft officiating. Memorial services will also be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 1993, at Ebenezer Baptist Church by the Rev. Billy Shively. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish may contribute in her memory to the Good Shepherd Hospice of Mid Florida, 245 S. Commerce Avenue, Sebring, Fla. 33870.
